San Francisco is a city I adore. Its history, architecture, neighborhoods, food, people...all of it. It's truly a wonderful city. I must say, the weather in the bay year round, is my favorite. While we were there, in mid summer mind you, it was in the high 60's and low 70's. While back home in Pasadena it was reaching 100 degrees. To me, San Francisco is a great city for layering clothing and of course, to wear a good hat.
Being this is a city that I love, I've wanted to try and start establishing a foundation here. I was finally able to begin the process when I was invited by Cable Car Clothiers, one of the cities oldest & most iconic haberdashery, to set up for a trunk show. Since as of now I don't have too big of a client base in the Bay, I thought it would be worth it to start setting roots in the city. Cable Car has a beautiful store in the heart of the city; paying homage to its families english roots. A couple of floors above the store, they have their own in-house tailor for alterations on their RTW (ready-to-wear) that they offer.
I had a great time hanging out at their store for the day with owner, Jonathan. Loved my time there and the new clients I was able to meet. I'm looking forward to investing more into this city to establish a greater clientele base over the next couple of months. I'll be back in November for our second trunk show and ready to do more fittings while delivering the hats that were ordered this last week. If you're from the Bay, mark your calendars and contact us with inquires!
